Ahyoka Hase-Crescenza is a Two-Spirit Cherokee-German storyteller. A graduate of the Harold Ramis Film School and alum of the 2023 Native American Media Alliance TV Writers Lab, they’ve directed five sketch revues at The Second City Chicago, penned the book Koalas And Other Funny Short Stories, and composed the score to the Sundance premiered short film Headdress (dir. Tai Leclaire). Their upcoming work includes the Indigenous folk-horror comic series Familiar Faces and the fantasy comedy comic series The Tale of Butt: A Turtle Island Story.

Ahyoka has played in blues-funk bands, is a founding member of Chicago musical comedy collective Good Ass Group, and has composed instrumentals for musical comedy influencers with over twenty million views on TikTok. They composed the score to the short film Headdress, directed by Taietsarón:sere ‘Tai’ Leclaire, which premiered at the '23 Sundance Film Festival.
